About us

Hi! I am Leila, the face behind No Sugar - No Problem and Mama Leila’s Keto Treats. 

I am a proud (hockey)mom, wife and a caregiver to my brother. 

Canada became my home when my family immigrated from Germany in 1995. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I treat everyone with kindness, wether they are a customer or someone coming into the store looking for something to eat. 

The question I get asked the most is: How did you get into this? It all started in my home kitchen back in 2017. I was obese and pre-diabetic and I had to make some changes. I started researching a keto lifestyle and cut out sugar and carbs. I still needed  to satisfy my sweet tooth, so I started making sugar free treats. Of course I shared with friends and family and the feedback was amazing. Word got out and I was instantly busy with orders. Everything went so fast that I quickly outgrew my home kitchen and started producing out of a commercial kitchen. In June of 2021 we expanded into a storefront, followed by opening a booth at Bountiful Farmers' Market in 2023. If I'm not in the kitchen baking, you can find me at the rink cheering on my son.
